Important Cancellation and Restocking Fees
- Orders canceled after processing has begun are subject to a 20% cancellation/restocking fee if the cancellation is approved.
- Firearm orders cannot be canceled after shipment to a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL).
- All firearm sales are final once the firearm has been transferred to the buyer
- A 35% restocking fee applies when a firearm is returned because the buyer fails or is denied through a required background check
1. Order Cancellations
Customers should submit cancellation requests as soon as possible. A cancellation request is not guaranteed and is not effective until confirmed by Wild Boy Firearms & Ammunition.
Before processing begins
- An order may be canceled without a restocking fee if the cancellation request is received and approved before order processing begins.
After processing begins
- If processing has begun, Wild Boy Firearms & Ammunition may decline the cancellation request. If cancellation is approved, the order will be subject to a 20% cancellation/restocking fee.
- This fee also applies to approved cancellations of processed orders placed for in-store pickup.
After shipment
- A firearm order cannot be canceled after the firearm has shipped to an FFL. The buyer remains responsible for all applicable shipping, transfer, return, and restocking costs.
2. Firearm Sales Are Final After Transfer
- All new and used firearm sales are final once the firearm has been legally transferred to the buyer.
- Due to federal, state, and local requirements, Wild Boy Firearms & Ammunition cannot accept a return or exchange after a firearm has been transferred. Customers should carefully inspect every firearm at the receiving FFL before accepting the transfer.
- If a customer accepts the transfer, any subsequent warranty or defect claim may need to be handled directly through the manufacturer.
3. Background-Check Failure or Denial
- If a buyer fails, is denied through, or is otherwise unable to complete a required background check, the firearm must remain with or be returned through the appropriate FFL.
- A refund of the eligible purchase amount will be issued only after the firearm has been returned to and received by Wild Boy Firearms & Ammunition in its original condition.
- A 35% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
- The buyer is also responsible for applicable shipping, return-shipping, transfer, and other related charges. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Firearms
- Customers must inspect the firearm at the receiving FFL before completing the transfer.
- If a firearm appears damaged, defective, or different from the item ordered, the customer should:
- Decline the transfer
- Leave the firearm with the receiving FFL
- Contact Wild Boy Firearms & Ammunition immediately
- Obtain return authorization before the firearm is shipped
- Photographs, documentation, or an inspection may be required. After the issue is verified, Wild Boy Firearms & Ammunition may, at its discretion and subject to applicable law, repair the firearm, replace it, authorize an exchange, or issue store credit.
- If an item is confirmed to have been damaged during shipping, shipped incorrectly, or defective before transfer, Wild Boy Firearms & Ammunition will determine responsibility for authorized return-shipping costs. Original shipping charges are otherwise non-refundable.
5. Firearm Returns and Exchanges
- Firearms cannot be returned or exchanged after transfer to the customer.
- Before transfer, a firearm return or exchange may be considered only when:
- The firearm arrived damaged, or
- The firearm is confirmed to be defective, or
- The incorrect firearm was shipped, and
- Wild Boy Firearms & Ammunition provides prior written authorization
- Approval is subject to inspection, product availability, and all applicable laws. No firearm should be shipped without advance authorization.
6. Accessories and Other Non-Firearm Items
- Optics, magazines, parts, holsters, and other eligible accessories may be considered for return or exchange if a request is submitted within **three calendar days after delivery**.
- To qualify, the item must be:
- Unused
- Unopened, when applicable
- In its original packaging
- Complete with all included materials; and
- In resalable condition
- Approved accessory returns are subject to the applicable restocking fee.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable, and the customer is responsible for return and exchange shipping unless Wild Boy Firearms & Ammunition confirms that the item was defective or shipped incorrectly
7. Ammunition
- All ammunition sales are final
- Ammunition cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances due to safety and liability concerns
8. Return Authorization and Shipping
- All returns and exchanges require advance approval from Wild Boy Firearms & Ammunition. Merchandise sent without authorization may be refused.
- Firearm shipments and returns must be handled through an authorized FFL and completed in accordance with all federal, state, and local requirements. Customers must not ship a firearm without first receiving instructions and authorization.
- Unless an item is verified as defective, damaged during shipping, or shipped incorrectly, the buyer is responsible for all return-shipping, FFL, transfer, and related costs.
9. Refunds and Deductions
- Approved refunds may be reduced by any applicable:
- 20% cancellation/restocking fee
- 35% background-check restocking fee
- Original or return-shipping charges
- FFL or transfer fees
- Refunds will be issued only after the returned item has been received, inspected, and approved.
- Refund timing may vary depending on the original payment method and financial institution.
10. Legal Compliance and Right to Deny Requests
- By purchasing from Wild Boy Firearms & Ammunition, the buyer acknowledges that every sale, cancellation, return, exchange, shipment, and transfer is subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Wild Boy Firearms & Ammunition reserves the right to deny a cancellation, return, or exchange request that does not comply with this policy or applicable law.
