Sales Restriction Policy

Effective: March 29, 2026

We at Wildboy Firearms & Ammunition are committed to complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing the sale and shipment of firearms, ammunition, magazines, and other regulated or restricted products. By placing an order on our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Sales Restriction Policy.

We reserve the right to cancel any order that does not comply with legal requirements or our internal compliance standards.

1. General Compliance Requirements

All customers must:

  • Be legally eligible to purchase the item(s) under applicable law

  • Provide accurate billing, shipping, and contact information

  • Comply with all local and state restrictions where the order is delivered

  • Understand that laws vary by jurisdiction and may change without notice

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that any item purchased is legal to own, purchase, and possess in their location.

2. Firearm Sales (FFL Transfer Required)

All firearm purchases made through our website must be shipped to a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer.

Firearms will NOT be shipped directly to customers.

All firearm shipments must be delivered to the FFL dealer provided by the buyer.

Buyer Responsibilities:

To complete a firearm purchase, the customer must:

  1. Provide an FFL dealer willing to accept the transfer

  2. Ensure the receiving FFL provides a copy of their license to us

  3. Complete all required background checks and transfer paperwork at the receiving FFL dealer

Important Notes:

  • Firearm transfers are subject to NICS background check approval or other state-required procedures.

  • If the buyer fails the background check or is denied by the receiving FFL, the order may be treated as a return and subject to restocking fees (see Returns and Exchanges Policy).

3. Ammunition Sales Restrictions

Ammunition sales are subject to restrictions based on state and local laws.

Minimum Age Requirements:

  • Rifle/Shotgun ammunition: 21 or older (or as required by law)

  • Handgun ammunition: 21 or older

  • We may require proof of age for any ammunition purchase.

Ammunition Shipping Restrictions:

We do not ship ammunition to restricted jurisdictions where prohibited by law. This may include, but is not limited to:

  • Certain cities and counties

  • States requiring ammunition to be shipped to an FFL or licensed vendor

  • States requiring permits or purchase authorizations

We reserve the right to request documentation prior to shipping ammunition orders.

4. Magazine Capacity Restrictions

Many states and local jurisdictions restrict the sale, transfer, or possession of magazines over certain capacities.

Restricted Capacity Magazines

We do not ship magazines that exceed legal capacity limits into restricted jurisdictions, including but not limited to:

  • California

  • Colorado (certain localities)

  • Connecticut

  • Delaware

  • District of Columbia

  • Hawaii

  • Illinois (certain localities)

  • Maryland

  • Massachusetts

  • New Jersey

  • New York

  • Rhode Island

  • Vermont

  • Washington

This list may not be complete. Customers are responsible for verifying legality in their area.

If an order contains restricted magazines that cannot legally ship to the destination, the order may be cancelled or modified.

5. Restricted Firearms and Firearm Parts

Certain firearms, components, and parts may be restricted in specific jurisdictions.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • AR/AK-style rifles

  • Certain semiautomatic pistols

  • Firearm frames and receivers

  • Complete upper receivers (in some jurisdictions)

  • Threaded barrels

  • Flash hiders / muzzle devices

  • Binary triggers, forced reset triggers, or similar components (where restricted)

We do not ship restricted firearms or firearm components to jurisdictions where prohibited.

6. Optics, Accessories, and Tactical Items

Certain accessories may be restricted depending on the destination state or locality, including but not limited to:

  • Night vision equipment

  • Laser aiming devices

  • Suppressors and suppressor parts

  • Certain armor-related equipment (where regulated)

We reserve the right to cancel orders if restricted items cannot be legally delivered.

7. Prohibited and Regulated Items (NFA / ATF Regulated)

We do not sell or ship items regulated under the National Firearms Act (NFA) unless explicitly stated and processed legally.

This may include:

  • Suppressors

  • Short-Barreled Rifles (SBR)

  • Short-Barreled Shotguns (SBS)

  • Machine guns

  • Destructive devices

  • Any item requiring ATF Form 4 / Form 1 approvals

If NFA items are offered, they require proper documentation and legal transfer procedures. Orders placed without compliance will be cancelled.

8. Shipping Restrictions and Order Verification

We reserve the right to:

  • Request identity verification

  • Request proof of residency

  • Request permits or licenses required for shipment (FOID, FID, purchase permits, etc.)

  • Cancel any order that appears fraudulent or suspicious

Orders with mismatched billing/shipping information may be delayed or cancelled.

9. Order Cancellations, Denials, and Returns for Restricted Items

If an order is cancelled due to legal restrictions, inability to verify eligibility, or refusal by an FFL to accept the shipment, the following may apply:

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable once the item has shipped

  • Return shipping may be deducted from the refund

  • 35% restocking fees may apply on firearms and regulated products

Background Check Denials / Failure to Complete Transfer

If a buyer fails a background check, is denied, or does not complete the transfer within the receiving FFL’s timeframe, the firearm may be returned to us and may be subject to:

  • 35% Restocking fee

  • Return shipping costs

  • Additional processing fees

10. Restricted Jurisdictions

We do not ship regulated items into areas where prohibited. Restricted jurisdictions may include, but are not limited to:

  • California

  • New York

  • New Jersey

  • Massachusetts

  • Connecticut

  • Hawaii

  • Washington D.C.

  • Certain counties and cities with additional restrictions

This list may not be complete, and restrictions may change at any time.

Customers are responsible for knowing and complying with their local laws.

11. Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or block transactions at our sole discretion if we believe:

  • The purchase violates federal/state/local law

  • The buyer is attempting to circumvent restrictions

  • The order is linked to suspicious activity or fraud

  • The buyer fails to provide required documentation

12. Customer Responsibility and Legal Disclaimer

By purchasing from our website, you confirm that:

  • You are legally allowed to purchase and possess the items ordered

  • You understand your state/local restrictions

  • You understand firearms must ship to an FFL

  • You assume all responsibility for legal compliance

We are not responsible for items confiscated or delayed due to unlawful delivery attempts or incorrect customer-provided information.
